My choice project was the "Soapbox Monologue" group. What we had to do in the group was write a monologue about our certain issue that we had chosen in the begining of the project. I chose "Women's Rights/Women Equality/Gender Roles." Before being able to choose what we write our monologue on, we had to write an Essay about an Issue that was interesting to us during the Industrial Revolution. I picked "Gender Roles" which was then converted into "Women's Rights/Women Equality."

I also worked on a costume to represent my "Monologue" and "Steampunk" as well. Mine was inspired by "Women's Rights" and a Steampunk character, "Lady Mechanika." The goggles, ripped jeans, corset, leather arms, belts, and boots, I was able to turn my costume into something that can relate to both the Monologue and "Lady Mechanika."
