My final products represent the Nervous System, and it's connections to our body and alcohol. Since our Nervous system is in charge of the organs in our body, it's vey important that our nerve cells and our brain stay healthy to avoid any problems with our organs and their communication to our Nervous System. While researching about the Nervous System and what happens when Alcohol is introduced into the body, I learned a lot of really interesting things. Since our Nervous System is made up of nerve cells and neurotransmitters, they are what keep the communication between our organs and the brain in order for our body to stay in homeostasis.
If alcohol were to be introduced into the body, it would affect the nerve cells. This would then affect the communication between our organs since they won't be receiving the nerve cells. So we would, in turn, be acting differently. This is the cause of not having enough nerve cells to function properly, due to alcohol consumption.
My final drafts are a zine page with quotes from my Personal Narrative, and two Anatomically Correct Drawings.
