Humanities has always been a subject that I consider to be a strength, on all aspects. I've really loved writing and reading, and I find myself dedicating personal time in doing this everyday. History is something I struggle with because I tend to know very little from what I learned a long time ago (3-4th grade is when I last remember a thoroughly thought-out lecture about Christopher Columbus), and I've learned here and there a couple things from being in different Humanities classes, but never enough to feel comftorable having a conversation with another human being about it.
This year, I really plan on opening my eyes about history, our different constitutions / amendments and exposing myself to the history I didn't know about before. I think History is really interesting (and I really like to learn about new things that happened years / decades ago), so being able to be in a World US History Studies class is really interesting and I'm excited for what this class will help me learn.
